The club has been very busy cutting new trails and
upgrading existing ones.
We've even joined forces with the Boy Scouts opening up
access to the Town forest. With the new trail crossing Rt. 13 we're
connected to Pearl Brook and Willard Brook state parks. These are two of the
State parks in Massachusetts that allow snowmobiling. From there it's an
easy trip to the N.H.
and Rt. 13 corridor.
We're all looking forward to a great year of riding,
please remember we're guests when we're out there and that many land owners
have only given us rights to pass on marked trails. So please stay on the
trails and don't infringe on private property. If you come across others in
the woods stop and talk to them. If they're riders, tell them what we're
doing, ask them to join the club. Yield the right of way to X-country
skiers, and ask them how they like the bridges and seek their input. Shut
your machine down if you see horses, and make sure they're not spooked. The
best publicity we have is ourselves.
Safe Responsible Riding
It is the clubs goal to promote legitimate, safe and
responsible riding. Local riding is made possible by local landowners. Keep
in mind that excessive noise and late night riding can and will get these
permissions revoked.
