• Treasurer Report
  • $1120
  • Still need to pay $400 for band
• Fall Festival
  • Weather for the weekend not looking so good
  • 6 Piece band – Country rock and Classic Rock – 6 piece – Open Highway
  • Tent is set – coming Friday – Setup tomorrow (Friday) at 5:00 PM
  • Heaters all set – brining 3 heaters and bottles of propane
  • Food Bank Donation - Club trying to give back on community – Bring a non-perishable food item to the fund raiser/party this weekend – These will go to the Lunenburg Lion’s Club and be joined in to their food drive – Pasta, Peanut Butter, Pasta Sauce, etc – Last year we donated about 100 lbs of food – let’s double that for this year!
  • Paula putting together fun stuff for the kids – Donuts on string, Pinata, Pumpkin Painting, Halloween prizes. Kids events are in the afternoon
  • Brian acquired a pig roaster – we are going to try and cover the cost of the charcoal and pig for the pig roast.
  • Need bails of hay and folding tables
    • Got them covered by people who were at the meeting
  • Cleanup Sun at 11:00 – Tent can’t be taken down till dry
  • Some people are signed up for Chili and some signed up for Food - Everyone needs to bring some kind of dish
  • Band going on 8-midnight
  • $10 per person – Cap at $20 per family
  • T-Shirts are $20
  • Got Raffle items, but still need to acquire some more – doing a Chinese raffle
• Grooming
  • Power Unit one – broke down – needs a crank – new/used crank is about $650 – overall the machine is looking good – so worth investing the crank. Overall will cost about $1000 to repair
  • Found a VMax that has a good motor, but the rest is shot – coming to club free
  • We have a VMax sled that has a good motor, but is short track
  • Getting a long track with a bad motor – so can do a parts swap to make a better groomer power unit.
• Trails
  • We were out again this past weekend – got a call from landowner on other side of lake – go through land owned by Phil T. – People have been complaining about people going through late night. Need to build a bridge and put down corduroy on a wet area. This trail is still contingent on us not getting complaints – Really need this section of trail to be quiet.
    • Trail work will be Sunday November 1 – Meet @ Club House at 9:00 AM
  • Ashby update
    • Where trail crosses rt 101 – Ernie cleared area called old steel road – discussed with land owners and got this area done.
    • Still need to clear area near Ward Pond – meet @ 31 store in Ashby at near Blood Hill. Meet Sunday (day after party) – 10:00 AM.
    • This trail needs to be marked as well
  • Another work party needs to run on Sunday November 8 – Meet @ Club House at 9:00 AM – Bill will head this up. Bring screw guns and screws – we need pallets! Bring what you can get for the club.

  • Make sure you fill out the Ski Doo Million Dollar Club Support Program forms – if you didn’t make it to the meeting – download the form from http://www.ski-doo.com/SKIDOOPUBLIC/_Static/en-US/pdf/Certificate_print.pdf and fill it out and bring it to Culley’s by November 15 – Every form we fill out is $10
  • Talked to President of Fitchburg rod/gun club – wants a letter and permission form from club – President will draft a letter for Joe M.
  • Fund Raising idea - Toys for tots drive for this Christmas
