    • Received kudos for the work done on the trails (both snowmobile and hiking)
    • Snowmobile club is officially granted permission to ride on all marked trails on all the conservation properties
    • Sharon is also going to do an education session at a future meeting on how to handle meeting a HORSE on the trails as they are share by both snowmobiles and horses in the winter.
    • Woodruff Farm property has also been approved for maintenance and marking.
  • SAM Update
    • SAM finally published MAP
    • We are giving 1 map per family that purchases SAM passes
    • State gives groomer funds but Lunenburg was excluded because they were not on the MAP
    • Tom presented that we are an active club, but can not put the trails on the map, so there will be a special vote on whether or not we can collect grooming funds even though we can not be on the map due to landowner restrictions
    • Power Sports expo this weekend (at the Big E - discount coupons available)
    • We have SAM passes available for sale
  • Groomer/Grooming Update
    • Higgins may be the place to purchase the new groomer machine
    • Got a quote at Higgins and it is very close to the grant money
    • Will look at other places to compare price
    • Question: how does the grant map to the exact unit we purchase.
    • Keeping track of skilled vs non-skilled labor and based on the rates the state provided we will determine how many hours we have to donate to make our share of the grant up.
    • Need more people to help with trail work - We are at 77 hours and we need approximately 300 hours.
    • Drags have been picked up by Jeremy - we got the hydraulics for the big groomer and will be putting it on.
    • VKs should not need any major work - just a basic fall setup/going-through - probably will be a couple $100 each.  Jay is going to lead up the VK maintenance effort.
  • Trail Update/Work
    • Widened Kana Rock area  - part of the area is off-camber - need to get permission from Hickory Hills to remove 2 trees to clear the way.
    • Have a beaver damn that we will have to route around to avoid water problems.
    • 3-4 Bridges need to be addressed
    • Some of the woods past Hickory Hills in Townsend Conservation needs work and Tom will be talking to Townsend Conservation next week.
    • From Old Ford Dealer to power lines is pretty good - very wet right now
    • Having some Beaver issues in other areas as well so we need to work with the appropriate authorities about how to address it - a "Beaver Deceiver" was recommended as an option to keep the water level at a reasonable level below the existing bridge.
    • Cowdry lot - took down 6 marked trees (and a few dead fall trees) - Brad did a fantastic job for us.  Some of the stumps are a little high, so we may want to get a stump grinder in there.  Cleared out dead fall on non-snowmobile trails as well - there was a lot of trees down.
    • Keith can probably take care of the recliner
    • Burrage conservation area - brought in 2 tractors and 30 yards of Gravel donated by Powell Stone and Gravel - this area was torn up by ATV's and we removed the burms and filled in the ruts.
    • Still need to do the 2nd bridge in the Cowdry lot - want to put cinder blocks and then poles and a deck - Club will purchase decking and blocks and provide the labor.  We have permission.   Ken will contact Troop 1728 to ask them if they want to help for service credit.
    • Hickory Hills BOD meeting is tonight and Tom is trying to get approval to do some special maintenance work.on Hickory Woods - if we get permission this will be the focus as it is a major project.
    • Burrage to Page - by the horse farm - need to do some minor trail re-routing and marking of the property line.
    • Blow-downs and re-route has to be done on the Burrage "red car" loop
    • Powell Farm trail clearing - across Mass Ave - need to clear blow-downs.
    • Whalom trail being detailed now - talking to property owners.
    • Putting up some fences in December on the other side of Lancaster to prevent people from crushing the bushes.
    • Ashby - landowner blocked land access due to ATV's - need to talk to them about opening it up for snowmobile access.  We have a contingency plan if we need to get around it.
