  • By Law adoption
    • Club voted on 12/6/07 in favor of By Law adoption.
    • Club members reviewed document and posted suggestions.
    • Suggestions were taken and changed within the document.
    • Club members voted to withdraw “Hickory Hills Lake” from all articles.
    • Club members voted to approve By Laws.
    • President and Vice President signed document.
    • Document will be taken for notarization.
  • Assistant Treasurer
    • A motion was made to nominate Eileen for assistant treasurer.
    • Club approved nomination and appointed Eileen as assistant treasure.
    • The assistant treasure will assist when Treasurer Mark Testa is unable to attend meetings.
  • Holiday swap
    • Date 12/20
      • Club OK'd swap date.
      • Swap will begin at 7:00 pm at the site of club meetings.
      • Families and children are welcome.)
    • Gifts should be $20 or less
      • Club members have to right to not participate. All members that would like to participate agreed on the amount to spend.
    • Bring a plate if you like
      • Club members can bring a plate for the holiday swap.
      • Left over soda and chips from Fall Festival will be used as well.
  • Memorial for Canna
    • Club members voted on the font to be used for the name plate.
    • President will e-mail font and wording to TJ.
    • TJ will give font and wording to the company within the next couple of days.
    • The memorial should be ready within one week of receiving the wording.
    • TJ will check on the price.
    • A meeting will be called when the memorial is ready to be placed.
  • Trails
    • Page St. to gun club No Go
      • Club will post dead end signs since we no longer have permission to use this trail after a certain point
      • Club discussed the possibility of looking for another trail on the other side of Reservoir Road.
    • Cowdrey needs clean up
      • There are reports of fallen trees on the Cowdrey lot
      • Club looked for volunteers to go out and clean up trail.
      • Members were unable to set a date for a work session.
      • President advised that this needs to be done before riding the trail.
    • Rt 2A fields
      • The fields were marked by Jeremy and Eric M.
      • Snow fencing has been put up
      • President would like the club to remove fencing and posts at the end of the year.
      • All materials were taken down last year and placed beside the trail.
      • The route 13 field has been marked as well.
    • HH Beach
      • Hickory Hills Beach needs to be marked.
      • Pete has volunteered to mark it.
      • President will provide the stuff the do it.
  • Work Sessions
    • A work session was brought to the floor for trail maintenance on the Cowdrey lot.
    • Club members were unable to commit to a date.
    • President suggested trying to get out there before the riding season to cut up fallen trees.
    • An emergency meeting will be called when the Memorial for Canna is ready to be placed
    • An e-mail will be sent by the President to members when the memorial is ready.
  • Groomer
    • New Machine Status
      • A motion was made to purchase a 1997 340 Jag that is in good condition to use as a grooming sled
      • The asking price for the sled was $450.00.
      • The club voted to approve the purchase of the sled from Michael S.
      • The sled will be used as a grooming sled.
      • The treasurer of the club wrote a check for $450.00 to purchase the sled.
      • The check was given to a member of the club who houses the sled being bought.
  • Maintenance
    • Jeremy M is looking into the price for buying gearing for maintenance on the old grooming sled.
    • Jeremy will call for pricing and get back to the President.
  • New Business
    • A motion was brought to the floor for the club to buy a raffle ticket benefiting the Snowmobile Association of America.
    • The club voted to approve the purchase of the ticket.
    • The treasurer wrote a check for $100 for the purchase.
    • Tom will bring the check and ticket to the next SAM meeting.
  • Club Trip
    • The club discussed the Club Snowmobile Trip for the riding season.
    • The date that was discussed was the weekend of January 18th to Rangeley Maine.
    • The club trip is open to all families interested.
    • Walter Osgood is looking into places to stay.
    • Anyone interested should let club President know.
    • The trip will be discussed at the next meeting to see how many people are interested in going.
